What do you think about the recent mainstream music?

Personally, I am not really into a lot of the music in the mainstream, especially when Justin Bieber and Ke$ha come to mind. Mad

There are a handful who are okay, but... maybe it's because I'm not really into hiphop.

What do you guys think about today's music?

When I was a minor, I used to think that mainstream was uncool but now it's all just a matter of what tickles my fancy. If I like the music, then I listen to it whether it is mainstream or not.

Today's music? hmm.. a lot are just commercially viable but artistically cliche. Only a few are living up to the title of "Artist""

That song had 3x more dislikes than likes in youtube xD It was horrible but it caught Katy Perry's attention; thus, she included Rebecca Black in her "Last Friday Night" Video.

Because Friday was a terrible song. Sad

I think it was the autotuning that did it. But then again, the lyrics were bad too.

Although it's somewhat old in terms of popularity, I think Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" is a great song. The "revenge" beat and poetic lyrics that seems to tell her story are captivating.
